Frequently Asked Questions
Who should I book with?
It depends on budget, availability and the level of experience someone is looking for. Every member of our team is trained around Endwel’s core foundations and service standards, regardless of level. If someone isn’t sure, we’re happy to help guide them toward the right stylist.
How much is a haircut?
Our haircut pricing is based on stylist level:
- Stylist — $35+
- Intermediate Stylist — $45+
- Senior Stylist — $55+
- Advanced Stylist — $65+
What's the difference between your stylist levels?
Our tiered system is built around flexibility, continuous growth and transparency. It allows clients to choose a stylist based on their preferences, experience level and budget.
Regardless of tier, each stylist is trained around Endwel’s core foundations and undergoes continuous education. The level represents experience and price point, but the Endwel approach and expectations remain consistent throughout the team.
I don't know what haircut I want. Can you help?
Absolutely. Clients don’t need to come into Endwel knowing the name of the haircut they want. Consultation is a major part of our process.
We look at texture, density, growth patterns, length, face/head shape, lifestyle, maintenance and styling habits before helping recommend a direction.
Can I bring a reference photo?
Yes, and we actually encourage it. It helps us understand what the client is drawn to. We use it as a starting point rather than a copy-and-paste template and then figure out how those elements realistically translate to the client’s own hair.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes. Clients are welcome to stop in and speak with someone about their hair, and consultation is also built into our haircut experience.
Do you cut long hair?
Yes. This is actually something we specialize in. Our technical system allows us to work with length, shape, weight and movement in medium and longer men’s hair rather than approaching everything as a traditional short barber cut.
Do you work with curly/wavy hair?
Yes. Understanding texture and how the hair naturally moves is an important part of our approach.
Do you do fades?
Absolutely. Fades are part of what we do, but don’t define the extent of what we do. We work across short, medium and longer men’s hairstyles using both barbering and hairdressing techniques.
Can you fix a bad haircut?
In many cases, yes. We first assess what’s gone wrong and what’s realistically possible with the available length. Sometimes we can correct it immediately and other times we’ll recommend a plan that allows certain areas to grow before achieving the final result.
Can you help me grow my hair out?
Yes. We actually believe growing your hair doesn’t necessarily mean avoiding haircuts. Strategic maintenance can preserve shape and control certain areas while allowing the areas that need length to continue growing.
Should I wash my hair before coming?
Clean hair is preferred as it gives us the best workable canvas. If that’s not possible, clients can add a wash to their haircut service.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes. Our general rule is that the child should be comfortable sitting independently for the service. We recommend calling us if there’s any uncertainty.
Do you cut women's hair?
We don’t currently offer traditional women’s hairstyling services. However, if someone is looking for a shorter style that falls within the type of technical cutting our team performs, we’re happy to discuss whether we’re the right fit.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, when availability permits. We recommend calling ahead to guarantee availability.
Do you offer beard services?
Yes. We offer beard trimming/sculpting, Haircut + Beard services and traditional hot-lather shaves.
Do you offer wedding/event grooming?
Yes. We recommend contacting us ahead of the event so we can plan the appropriate services and timing.
Where exactly are you located?
86 Woodbridge Avenue, Unit 20, in the Market Lane area of downtown Woodbridge. Our exterior entrance faces Woodbridge Avenue.
Where can I park?
Free street parking and free public lots are available throughout the area. Market Lane Square is usually the easiest option when street parking is limited.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards.
